Ric Ambrose is represented in numerous public and private collections. His large-scale drawings were featured in solo and group exhibitions across America.

He has an MFA in drawing and a BFA in studio art and art history. Ambrose has over 30 years of leadership experience in the arts managing art collections of historical and contemporary art. He taught studio art at Colorado State University and West Virginia State University.

He has curated over 300 exhibitions in art, science and history at five organizations including Sangre de Cristo Arts Center (Pueblo CO), Fresno Metropolitan Museum, Laurence Hall of Science (UC Berkeley) and the Clay Center for the Arts and Science (Charleston, WV). He was the Executive Director of the Pacific Art League for several years.
